If necessary, download and install Jet 4.0 Service Pack 8

All up-to-date installations of Windows 2000 and XP will already have this installed.

• Download and install the correct version of the Jet 4.0 Database Engine SP8 for your version of Windows from here.
  (If you are sure you have this already, you need not do the rest of this section. If your PC is recent and / or fully up to date with Microsoft Updates, you probably have.)
• If you have the Jet Service Pack installed already, you will be informed and the installation will stop, anyway.
• Complete the installation, if necessary, before continuing.
• If the Jet 4.0 Database Engine SP8 is not installed, you will be plagued with security warnings.
