• From the main Menu, select 'Request a Registration Code'.
• Read the dialog and decide how you want to proceed. Using the email approach is simplest, but please remember to actually send it from your email program.
• If your email program is incorrectly set up, the email will fail.
• In this event, carry out this procedure again and choose to copy the code. Paste it into a text editor and send it by any means possible.
• You have 14 days from the date of installation to register your copy.
• Registration details will be emailed to you within 24 hours of receiving them.

When you receive your Licence Number

• Copy the key from the email sent to you. Be careful to select ONLY the key.
• From the main Menu, select 'Register LodgeDat'.
• Paste the key you have copied into the 'Licence Number' box.
• If you cannot paste the key, enter it carefully into the box manually.
• Complete the 'User Name' box.
• Click 'Continue'.
• If the details do not match those stored at the time of installation, you will be told your Licence Number is invalid.

• Try again.
• If you leave registration too late, the program will time out and refuse to run.
• In this event the program will need to be registered using a special registration program before you can continue.
  If you re-install the program, you will lose all the data you have entered.
